Nicholas Gentle - Picture Framer
Nicholas and his wife Margaret set up their new workshop in Washington in September 2007, having previously spend 35 years framing trading as The Gentle Gallery in Steyning.

The on-site workshop undertakes all aspects of framing, from making photograph frames to the framing of articles requiring high quality conservation and museum standards.

Over 300 different mouldings and 100 different mount colours and textured boards are always in stock.  All materials can be purchased for making your own frames and help and advice freely given.

The workshop caters for stretching all art on material such as batiks and silk paintings as well as tapestries either for framing or for cushion covers and fire screens.

Restoration – the very best professional restorers are employed to clean and restore oil colours, frames can be repaired and reguilded.  Prints and watercolours can be cleaned and repaired.
